EACN scheduled September 10 to 12 at EURECOM, Sophia Antipolis
The 2025 Workshop on Entanglement Assisted Communication Networks (EACN) will take place from September 10 to 12 at EURECOM, Sophia Antipolis near NICE, France in the French Riviera.
Topics: Shared entanglement is widely acknowledged as the key enabler to future quantum information processing tasks. Yet, from a technological perspective, it has remained largely unclear how exactly one should approach the transfer from ideas and laboratory experiments to actual technology. In particular this is true for the domain of quantum communication. To find answers to multidisciplinary questions connecting theory, experiment and network design, this interdisciplinary workshop focuses on entanglement as a resource assisting classical communication systems, covering topics such as Quantum Memories, Quantum Simulators, Entanglement Generation and Quantum Security. We welcome participants from academic institutions, research labs and industry.

Registration procedure for ALL attendees, speakers, and participants.
We strongly encourage all attendees to present atleast one poster (or two) at EACN. Poster presenters are also invited to give a short 2 - 5 minute lightning talk in front of the whole audience on their work and thereby attract the audience to visit your poster. Please take this opportunity to interact with the attendees and build your research network. If you have a poster presented in a some other past recently concluded workshop/conference, we strongly encourage you to bring that poster with you and use that as an opportunity to display it, speak about and thereby interact with the research community. The poster session will be also arranged with a coffee/tea and cookies and the organization is such that the attendees hang out there for a few hours and get to see each of the posters at length and chat with the presenters. This is a great opportunity for each of you to build conversations.
We do not have in-house poster printing services. Therefore, we kindly ask you to bring your poster with you. If you have an exceptional requirement and/or unable to bring with you on your flight, please email the organizers before 02Sept and we will see if we can help.
The closest hotel to EURECOM is Moxy Sophia Antipolis.
Important: France general strike scheduled for 10 September. We very much advise participants to arrive on 9 September to avoid disruptions.
